presaepium (noun; Latin prae, before; sepes, fence): (Arthropoda: Insecta) In larvae of the ant tribe Camponotini, the shallow depression on the venter of some anterior abdominal somites; suggested to resemble the trophothylax of pseudomyrmecinae larva.
