foot (noun; plural feet; Anglo-Saxon fot, foot): 1. An organ of locomotion or attachment.

2. (Arthropoda: Insecta) The tarsus.

3. (Mollusca) a. The muscular undersurface of the body. b. In Bivalvia, the muscular, protrusible structure extending from the body mid-line; used for burrowing.

4. (Rotifera) The foot or tail, with or without toes.
