cercopod (noun; Greek kerkos, tail; pous, foot): 1. (Arthropoda: Crustacea) A segmented terminal process located on the telson. See also caudal ramus.

2. (Arthropoda: Insecta) Jointed foot-like appendages of the last abdominal segment
