bourrelet (noun; French bourrelet, circular pad): 1. A ridgelike prominence or rounded edge. 1. (Arthropoda: Insecta) see parameres.

2. (Echinodermata) A raised prominence on the interambulacral plates at the edge of the mouth.

3. (Mollusca: Bivalvia) A ligamental area anterior and posterior to the resilifer.
