Seistan and Baluchestan Province (as Melanoides scabra var. elegans: Annandale and Prashad 1919[1]); Isfahan Province (as Melanoides scabra: Biggs (1937)[2]; Hormozgan Province (Starmühlner and Edlauer 1957[3]).

New records

Hormozgan Province: IR08-11 [13 ex.]; IR17-11 [2 ex.].

Associated species

Farsithyra farsensis, Melanoides tuberculatus, Physella acuta, Melanopsis doriae.

Distribution

Indo-Pacific coasts.
