Description

Distribution.Italy (Sicily, Sardinia). Balearic Islands: Mallorca (Navás 1910). Note. According to Kimsey and Bohart (1991) Stilbum calens enslini is a synonym of Stilbum cyanurum, but separate subspecies according to Rosa and Soon (2012). Quite possible that S. calens enslini is endemic subspecies of Sicily, Sardinia, and Mallorca. The original du Buysson’s description of S. siculum Tournier, 1878 agree with S. calens enslini (Linsenmaier 1959: 182)
