styliger plate: (Arthropoda: Insecta) In Ephemeroptera, a sclerite on the posterior portion of sternum 9, variable in shape, which on the posterior margin gives rise to a pair of slender and usually segmented appendages called forceps or claspers; a subgenital plate.
