metazoea (noun; Greek meta, after; zoe, life): (Arthropoda: Crustacea) A late zoeal stage in Anomura and Brachyura with simple uniramous limbs on posterior thoracomeres, budding pleopods 1-5 at the same time, and having stalked eyes.
