hyaloplasm also hyaloplasma (noun; Greek hyalos, glass; plasma, formed or molded): 1. The base substance of cytoplasm in which organelles are found.

2. (Arthropoda: Insecta) The clear non-contractile matter (sarcoplasm) of a muscle in which the organelles are found.
