deutomalae (noun, plural; Greek deuterous, second; malon, cheek): 1. (Arthropoda: Symphyla) The second pair of mouth appendages in certain myriapods.

2. (Chaetognatha) A broad plate formed by the fusion of the second pair of mouth appendages.
