dermal glands: 1. (Arthropoda: Crustacea) A cell or cells in the epidermis traversed by canals communicating with the surface through fine ducts.

2. (Arthropoda: Insecta) Hypodermal unicellular glands which secrete wax, cement, pheromones, etc.
