Diagnosis

This species may be distinguished from other species in the thyantae group by the expanded gena. It may also be separated from Trissolcus thyantae by the complete mesopleural carina, and from Trissolcus parma and Trissolcus ruidus by the entirely smooth mesoscutellum and absence of a genal carina.
