Etymology

Etymology. The specific epithet is taken from its similarity to O. liupan Hu & Zhang, 2011; noun in apposition.

Diagnosis

Diagnosis. The new species is closely related and very similar to O. liupan (Hu & Zhang 2011: 60, figs 1 – 7), but differs from the latter by the wide separation between the tip of the RTA and the base of the cymbium in the retrolateral view, and the stronger and less curved tegular process of its male palp (Figs 5 A–C, 6 C–E); females are distinguished by the narrow median plate, the small bursae that do not overlap and are much longer than wide, and the stronger, inwardly curved spermathecae of the epigyne (Figs 5 D–E, 6 F–G).
