Type material
1 M holotype (NHMUK), Somaliland, Somalia.
Distribution
know from Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somalia, although Birula (1903)[3] recorded toponyms that are old and difficult to map.
Remarks
Lourenço (2008)[14] stated that B. o. zeylensis might be a distinct species from B. berberensis, but that further material was required to confirm this possibility. Kovařík (2011)[15] considered B. o. zeylensis a colour morph of B. berberensis present in juveniles and some males.
