Notes
Borneocola calcicola is the largest amongst the Borneocola species. Poulsen and Searle (2005)[1] observed that the distichous inflorescence is one of the characteristics of the plant. However, a recent collection of Borneocola calcicola, Sam FRI 50290, from Seromah, Bau, showed spirally arranged floral bracts. There was a mixture of spirally and distichously arranged floral bracts in its population in Bau, Sarawak.
