==Discussion==

The species has not yet been revised, but an assignment to the genus ''Trichosiopsis'' is certain. The type material is probably lost, but the small species might be recognizable based on the description and the figures. The comparison with ''[[Leptospina atricha]]'' by Hondru is misleading. Mohrig & Menzel (1997)<ref name="SC226" /> compare ''Tr. longistilis'' with ''[[Trichosiopsis juniperi]]''.
