Template:Provide thumbnail version

Due to technical restrictions, the MediaWiki software is not able to produces thumbnails and previews on the main file description page of files (PNGs, TIFs and GIFs) above a certain size limit − currently, 25 megapixels. A thumbnail version (either a full-sized JPEG or a smaller PNG) should be uploaded for thumbnail/preview purposes, and linked with the main file. Use {{Archival version}} and {{Compressed version}} to mark files when it is done. |
