campus (noun; plural campi; Latin campus, field): (Arthropoda: Insecta) The bare or almost bare ventral region of the tenth, or fused ninth and tenth, abdominal segments of scarabaeoid larvae, in front of an entire or anteriorly split teges, or in front of the paired tegilla.
