cardiac stomach: 1. (Arthropoda: Crustacea) In Decapoda, the anterior portion of the stomach.

2. (Bryozoa: Phylactolaemata) That part of the stomach between the cardiac valve and caecum.

3. (Echinodermata: Asteroidea) The large, loosely folded adoral stomach of a sea star, that is capable of being everted when feeding.
