endite (noun; Greek endon, within): 1. The inner lobe of any limb segment.

2. (Arthropoda: Chelicerata) The plate borne by the coxa of the pedipalps of most spiders, that functions as a crushing jaw.

3. (Arthropoda: Crustacea) The inwardly (medially) directed lobe of the precoxa, coxa, basis, or ischium.
