cephalopharyngeal skeleton: (Arthropoda: Insecta) In Diptera, articulated sclerites of the mature larva; a secondary development: mandibular sclerites, intermediate sclerite, pharyngeal sclerite, chitinized, anterior, invaginated portion of the mouth parts.
