musculus costerum lateralium internis: (NEMATA: Secernentea) Bursa muscle that arises as paired submedian muscles at the body wall anterior to the intestino-rectal valve; each laterally extended branch entering the root of the lateral ray; possibly functioning to bend the bursa inwards.
