bell (noun; Anglo-Saxon belle, bell): 1. Any bell-shaped structure.

2. (Cnidaria) a. In Hydrozoa, the umbrella of jellyfish. b. In Scyphozoa, the nectophores of siphonophores.

3. (NEMATA) The bursa.
