Russia, the Altai Republic, Ulaganskii District, environs of Ust-Ulagan Vill., 50°50′N, 88°06′ E

Diagnosis and discussion

Trichosiopsis ulagana is a medium sized species and was compared to the much larger Trichosiopsis yerburyi for having a tapered gonostylus. By the shape pf the gonostylus Tr. ulagana also resemblesTrichosiopsis juniperi.

Etymology

The name is referring to district, where the species was collected.
