PSYLLIPSOCIDAE
- Psyllipsocus ramburii Selys-Longchamps, 1872
Additions to NZIB
- Dorypteryx longipennis Smithers, 1991 A
NOTES
- Dorypteryx longipennis was validated new to New Zealand by Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (2011: 30), based on specimens collected in Auckland City by me
- validated new to New Zealand records, published in Biosecurity magazine, are not interceptions, and while some may prove not to be permanently established, the default assumption must be that they are so
- Dorypteryx longipennis is certainly established in New Zealand
- actually, the species had been first reported from N.Z., without comment, by Affeld et al., (2009: 194), based on material identified by C.N. Smithers
