Discussion

Remarks: This new species is closely related to S. godeffroyiHNS Mayr, but is separable from it by the following charac- ters: (1) smaller size (TL>2.35 mm in godeffroyiHNS, TL>2.22 mm in tradaHNS); (2) pronotum, mesonotum and propodeum smooth and shining in most part (micro- reticulate in godeffroyiHNS); (3) 1st gastral tergite without long flagellate hairs, erect hairs present (with about 7 pairs of hairs in godeffroyiHNS); (4) eye relatively small and consisting of 6 ommatidia (more than 10 ommatidia in godeffroyiHNS). Only 1 specimen was collected from Wulai in northern Taiwan.
