Distribution and habitat
All lots were collected from rivers of Pulau Gaya, off the coast of Kota Kinabalu.
Remarks
This species is widespread in coastal freshwater streams, rivers and lakes from Sri Lanka to Australasia (van Benthem Jutting 1956[1], Eichhorst 2016[2]).
