Type locality
Balearic Islands (western Mediterranean Sea).
Distribution
Mediterranean Sea: WB, CB, AS, Sea of Marmara (Karhan et al. 2008[3]). New record for the Aegean Sea.
Habitat
Until 20 m depth, among algae with much sediment, among Posidonia oceanica rhizomes, in sediments with much organic material.
