Diagnosis
Diagnosis. Shell banded beneath suture except in body whorl; faintly striate or not. Aperture with angular tubercle. Most swollen part at penultimate and body whorls. With 6.875–7.375 whorls; height 21.1–23.8, diam. maj. 12.9–13.9. Penis without penial caecum; internally with more than 2 fine longitudinal pilasters. Papilla developed by fused proximal pilasters forming V-shaped structure absent. Epiphallus straight. Epiphallic caecum present.
Re-description of shell. Cylindrical-conic; apex protruded. Most swollen part at penultimate and body whorls. Shell dextral; thin; solid; opaque; glossy; not speckled; not spirally grooved except very weakly grooved at umbilicus region; with 6.875–7.129 – 7.375 whorls. Whorls not shouldered; slightly convex. Growth lines usually not very clear. Embryonic shell smooth; polished; with 1.500–1.563 – 1.625 whorls. Postnuclear whorls smooth. Suture normal, without narrow defined zone on beneath whorl. Last whorl gradually ascending towards aperture; rounded at periphery; without smoothed spiral peripheral depression nor rugate region. Shell 21.1–22.2 – 23.8 high; 12.9–13.4 – 13.9 in diam. maj. Height/width ratio 1.58–1.66 – 1.72. Aperture in a plane; completely attached to body whorl; truncate-ovate; not adnate; not armed; with angular tubercle; 9.9–10.7 – 11.2 high; 8.5–8.8 –9.0 wide. Ratio of shell height to aperture height 1.97–2.06 – 2.13. Peristome reflexed with distinct cuff. Cuff made by the reflexed peristome more or less curved backward. Peristome expanded; sharp. Parietal callus indistinct. Columellar margin reflexed. Columella vertical. Outer edge of columellar lip vertical. Umbilicus a narrow slit. Apical whorls normally coloured. Shell multicoloured; apex and umbilical region light brownish, with a grey-white spiral band occupying about 2 / 3 of each whorl just above suture, starting from about fourth or fifth whorl. Aperture white. Genitalia. See Schileyko (1998: 190, fig. 234).
