Collection and habitat data

This species has been reported from under lakeshore debris and in rotting mushrooms in Newfoundland (Klimaszewski et al. (2011)[1] and captured in an estuary above the tidal zone, under stones, and along a stream in silt, gravel, and leaf litter at other localities (Lohse et al. 1990[2]). In New Brunswick, this species was associated with coastal habitats. Adults were collected from under litter resting on a large log (drift wood) in a freshwater marsh adjacent to a salt marsh, along the upper margin of a salt marsh in grass litter in a seepage area with Carex and Spartina patens, and in decaying sea wrack under alders on the upper margin of a sea beach. Adults were collected during May in New Brunswick.

Distribution in Canada and Alaska
