General distribution
Oriental region (Poorani 2002[1]), Afrotropical region, Mediterranean region, Middle East (Kovář 2007[2]).
Distribution in Iran
Golestan (Montazeri and Mossadegh1995[3]), Lorestan (Jafari and Kamali 2007[4]), Gilan (Hajizadeh et al. 2003[5]), Fars, Kerman, Khorasan, Khuzestan, Sistan, and Baluchestan (Moddarres-Awal 2012[6]), Lorestan (current study).
Ecology
This species feeds usually on the following hemipterans: Acanthococcus abaii (Eriococcidae), Agonoscena pistaciae (Psyllidae), Bemisia tabaci (Aleyrodidae) (Moddarres-Awal 2012[6]).
