Collection and habitat data

The specimens from New Brunswick were captured in Lindgren funnel traps deployed in an old red pine forest, a mature (110-year-old) red spruce forest, an old red oak forest, and a rich Appalachian hardwood forest. Elsewhere, adults were captured in deciduous and mature red spruce–hemlock forests; some specimens were captured on Polyporus betulinus (Bull.) Fries) (Klimaszewski et al. 2004[1]). Adults were collected during May and June in both New Brunswick and Stanley Park, Vancouver, British Columbia (McLean et al. 2009[2]).
