Natural history

In Alberta, most adults were collected using window traps attached to boles of recently girdled trees and snags of white spruce in white spruce dominated stands. Elsewhere, adults were found under bark of coniferous trees (Klimaszewski et al. 2007a[4], 2011[1]). The adults were collected from June to September.
