Type material
NHMUK 1854.12.4.235, five paralectotypes (d’Orbigny coll.).
Remarks
The lectotype is in the MNHN collection (Breure 1976[3]).
Current systematic position
Odontostomidae, Plagiodontes patagonica (d’Orbigny, 1835).
