Distribution
China (Taiwan and mainland) (Linsenmaier 1959[4]). Widely distributed in the Palaearctic Region (Mocsáry 1911[8]; Trautmann 1927[9]; Linsenmaier 1959[4]; Kurzenko and Lelej 2007[10]).
Remarks
The placement of Hedychrum gerstaeckeri formosaiense Linsenmaier is uncertain. According to Tsuneki (1970b)[11], it could be synonym or a form of Hedychrum japonicum Cameron, 1887.
