Remarks

Holotype ♂.

Type locality

South Africa, Cape of Good Hope (Serville coll.) According to Kimsey and Bohart (1991[2]: 213), the holotype should be housed in the Spinola collection, but it is not there any more. The type should also be searched for at MNHN.
