South Africa (Transvaal, Natal, Swaziland, Cape colony).
Note
The species is known in this study from descriptions, from photographs of the syntype, Clydesdale, Tyson 1188 (K) deposited at the US by Earl Smith, and one specimen, Sidey 3470 from Natal, distributed originally as Vernonia corymbosa.
