Notes
- Diomocoris russatus is a species of plant bug endemic to New Zealand. Published specimen records are few. They are from the northern North Island (AK, CL, GB). The only record from AK is a single female from the Hunua Ranges in 1967 (NZAC). The only CL record (Fantail Creek) is from NZAC (Larivière & Larochelle, 2004: 98), not examined by Eyles (2000). The species has been taken from fruiting Pittosporum sp. in late November. This may or may not indicate a true host plant association. It has also been taken in early December. It is the only known species of Diomocoris with a predominantly red colour.
