Type species

Diamphidia femoralis Gerstaecker, 1855: 638 (Sena and Port Natal), designation by monotypy.

Distribution

Central, Eastern, and Southern-Eastern Africa (Fig. 306).

Ecology

A genus associated with shrubs and trees of Commiphora (Burseraceae) (cf. Jolivet and Hawkeswood 1995[5]; Chaboo et al. 2007[6]).

Notes

Seventeen species are known.
