  • Cunaxa violaphila Sergeyenko, Alexey L., 2009, Zootaxa 2161: 13-14.

Description

Female (Figs. 35 –44 & 58). Gnathosoma (Figs. 35–38). Chaetotaxy and structure of palps (Fig. 35) and chelicerae (Fig. 36) as in C. gordeevae sp. nov. Basi- and telofemur of palps with filiform dorsal setae, genu with incrassate dorsal setae. Apophysis of telofemur cone-like with dull apex, situated proximomedially on joint. Dorsally the hypognathal coxal region possesses an oval-shaped papillated area which joins with the broken striae of ventral surface of hypognathum (Fig. 37). Ventral surface of hypognathum as in Fig. 38. –. Cunaxa violaphila, female. Genu, tibia and tarsus (without ambulakrum) of: leg I (); leg II (42); distal part of telofemora, genu, tibia and tarsus (without ambulakrum) of: leg III (43); leg IV (44). Scale-bar— 50 μm. Idiosomal dorsum (Fig. 39 & 58). Chaetotaxy as in C. gordeevae sp. nov. Propodosomal plate mainly smooth, and only near the bases of setae vi and laterally to sce provided with some papillated regions. Also, the anterior region of the plate with faint striae (Fig. 39). Length of setae sci much longer than the half distance between their bases. Setae f 1 and h 1 distinctly setose. Relative length of dorsal hysterosomal setae: f 1 = h 1 ˃ c 1 = d 1 = e 1 ˃ c 2. The hysterosomal dorsum with thin, long striae without lobes and papillae (Fig. 58). Idiosomal venter (Fig. 40). Striae of the idiosomal venter are long, thin and smooth. Chaetotaxy as in C. gordeevae sp. nov. Genital valves with longitudinal striae. Genital setae subequal in length. Distance between setae g 2 –g 3 longer than distance g 1 –g 2 and g 3 –g 4. Legs (Fig. 41–44). Leg chaetotaxy: coxae I–IV, 3sts, 1peg — 1sts — 3sts — 2sts; trochanters I–IV, 1 — 1—2 — 1sts; basifemora I–IV, 4 — 4 — 3 —0 sts; telofemora I–IV, 4sts — 4sts — 3sts, 1ms — 3sts, 1ms; genua I–IV, {2asl, 1sts}, {2asl}, 4sts — 2asl, 5sts — 1asl, 5sts — 1asl, 5sts; tibiae I–IV, {1asl, 1sts}, 1bsl, 4sts — 1bsl, 5sts — 1bsl, 5sts — 1T, 4sts; tarsi I–IV, {1bsl, 1peo, 1sts}, 3bsl, 1dtsl, 2tsl, 21sts — 1bsl, 1dtsl, 1tsl, 22 (21) sts — 1tsl, 22 (23) sts — 19 (20) sts. The surface of basifemora with transverse broken striae; that of other segments with elongate papillae which are dorsally longer and less dense than ventrally. Measurements. Length of idiosoma 338 (338–408); width 225 (235–272). Length of hypognathum 131 (131–136); width 77 (77–83). Length of palps 185 (185–203). Length of chelicerae 118 (118–130). Length of legs: I 244 (239–253); II 228 (225–239); III 253 (249–267); IV 281 (272–295). Length of setae: hg 1 17 (17–19); hg 2 21 (21–25); hg 3 34 (33–40); hg4 20 (19–22); ve12 (11–13); sci32 (30–37); c 1 34 (30–37); c 2 28 (23–30); d 1 32 (23–33); e 1 31 (24–33); f 1 55 (53–61); h 1 54 (51–57); g 1–4 14–15 (13–17).
