Description
Female (Figs. 10–18) Gnathosoma (Figs. 10–12). Chaetotaxy and structure of palps (Fig. 10) and chelicerae as in C. gordeevae sp. nov. Dorsal seta on palpal basifemur filiform, dorsal setae on telofemur incrassate. Apophysis of telofemur cone-like with pointed apex and closer to distal part of segment. Dorsal seta of genu slightly thicker than lateral one. Dorsally the coxal region possesses an oval-shaped papillated area (Fig. 11). The greater part of ventral surface of hypognathum is smooth. There is a transversely elongated area with papillae up to the level of setae hg 4 (Fig. 12).
Idiosomal dorsum (Fig. 13). Chaetotaxy and cuticular structure as in C. gordeeva sp. nov. Length of setae ve more than half of the length of sci. Setae sci slightly longer than half of distance between their bases. Relative length of dorsal hysterosomal setae: f 1 = h 1 ˃ c 1 ˃ c 2 = d 1 = e 1. Setae c 1, c 2, d 1, e 1 smooth, f 1 and h 1 finely setose. Hysterosoma with long, thin, smooth striae. Some small papillae occur distally to setae c 1, laterally to im and at the bases of sce. Idiosomal venter (Fig. 14). Striae long and thin, mainly smooth, and only anteriorly and posteriorly to genital opening some papillae occur. Chaetotaxy of idiosomal venter as in C. gordeevae sp. nov. Genital valves with longitudinal thin broken striae. Setae g 1–4 subequal in length. Setae g 4 situated laterally to row of setae g 1–3. Legs (Figs. 15–18). Leg chaetotaxy: coxae I–IV, 3sts, 1peg — 1sts — 3sts — 2sts; trochanters I–IV, 1 — 1—2 — 1sts; basifemora I–IV, 3 — 3 — 3 — 1sts; telofemora I–IV, 4 — 4 — 4 — 4sts; genua I–IV, {1asl, 1sts}, 3asl, 4sts — 2asl, 5sts — 1asl, 5sts — 1asl, 5sts; tibiae I–IV, {1asl, 1sts}, 1bsl, 4sts — 1bsl, 5sts — 1bsl, 5sts — 1T, 4sts; tarsi I–IV, {1bsl, 1peo, 1sts}, 3bsl, 1dtsl, 2tsl, 23sts — 1bsl, 1dtsl, 1tsl, 25sts — 1tsl, 26sts — 21sts. One of two proximal solenidia on genu I and proximal on genu II are extremely short, their length as long as the diameter of their alveoli. Surface of trochanters and basifemora I–IV with broken striae. Other leg segments with papillae which on dorsal side are larger but fewer than on ventral side.
Measurements. Length of idiosoma 412 (356–412); width 286 (249–286). Length of hypognathum 175 (154–175); width 95 (87–95). Length of palps 206 (182–206). Length of chelicerae 163 (150–184). Length of legs: I 319 (286–320); II 304 (267–304); III 347 (312–347); IV 379 (347–379). Length of setae: hg 1 13 (12–13); hg 2 19 (18–19); hg 3 28 (28–33); hg 4 22 (19–22); ve17 (13–17); sci24 (23–25); c 1 28 (24–28); c 2 22 (20–22); d 1 20 (20–22); e 1 21 (19–21); f 1 45 (42–45); h 1 42 (35–42); g 1–4 15–17 (14–17). Distance between setae: sci–sci42 (37–42), sci–ve45 (41–45). Male and immatures unknown.
Etymology
Etymology. The species name guanotoleranta refers to the habitat, viz. guano of bats, where the new species was first found; recently specimens were found in a cave, in sod near caves and on trees. Differential diagnosis. The new species resembles C. gordeevae sp. nov., but differs from the latter species by possessing a smooth ventral surface on the hypognathal coxal region (in C. gordeevae base of ventral surface of hypognathum with papillae), proximal solenidion on genu II very short, equal to the diameter of its alveolus (in C. gordeevae it is long, about 5 times as long as diameter of its alveolus).
Materials Examined
Type material. Female holotype, Ukraine, Crimea, Opukskiy Nature Reserve, in catacombs, in guano of bats Myotis sp., 20.VI. 2002 (Coll. Sergeyenko, A.L.). Paratypes: 5 ΨΨ, same data as holotype. 1 Ψ, Opukskiy Nature Reserve, on plateau, in cereal sod, 18.V. 2002 (Coll. Sergeyenko, A.L.). 1 Ψ on leaves of oak, Quercus sp., without locality, date and name of collector. Location of material. Holotype and 3 ΨΨ in NBG; 1 ΨΨ in SIZK; 3 ΨΨ in ZMKU.
