Type species
Coddingtonia euryopoides Miller et al., 2009 by original designation.
Diagnosis
The male of Coddingtonia may be distinguished from other theridiosomatids by the mesal bristle of the embolic apophysis (Fig. 3A, B, D; Wunderlich 2011[2]: figs 3, 5). The female of Coddingtonia can be distinguished from other theridiosomatids by the following combination of characters: spermathecae separated by about one diameter (Figs 1E, F, 2F, G, 4E, F, 5D, E) vs. juxtaposed and partially fused together (Coddington, 1986), long and coiled copulatory ducts surrounding the spermathecae, but lacking that in other theridiosomatids (Figs 1E, F, 2F, G, 4E, F, 5D, E).

Distribution
Southern China (Yunnan, Hainan), Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia (Fig. 6).
