“New Caledonia” added in a later handwriting. “type de l’auteur” glued on shell.

NHMUK 1929.9.14.5, syntype, ex Marie coll.

Remarks

In the recent revision of New Caledonian Placostylus (Neubert et al. 2009[2]) an argument is made for the current systematic position of this taxon.
