Tobias and Abdinbekova 1973[1]: 431 (synonymised with Ipobracon Thomson, 1892); Shenefelt 1978[2]: 1808 (as a synonym of Ipobracon); Quicke 1984[3]: 358 (as a valid genus); 1987: 93 (in key), 104; Li et al. 2021[4]: 116 (in key; as a subgenus of Cyanopterus Haliday).
