The characters given in the key for Apodynerus amandus Gusenleitner, 2002, Apodynerus diffinis Giordani Soika, 1996, Apodynerus rufipes Giordani Soika, 1994 and Apodynerus nitidiclypeus Gusenleitner, 2013, were taken from the original descriptions (Giordani Soika 1994[2], 1996[3], Gusenleitner 2002[4], 2013[5]), and for Apodynerus formosensis (von Schulthesses, 1934), from Giordani Soika (1994)[2]. The characters in the key are applicable to both sexes unless the sex is mentioned.
