Materials Examined
Type data: Holotype Ψ, Taipei: Yangmingshan (650m; N 25 ° 11´E 121 ° 33´), 24 -Aug.- 1999, Huang & Wang; ex Symplocos chinensis (Lour.) Druce (Symplocaceae). (deposited at NMNS). Paratypes, 3 Ψ, data same as for holotype. Relation to host: A vagrant on the lower leaf surface. No apparent damage was observed.
Discussion
Remarks: This new species is close to A. shinkoensa Huang et Wang, 2003 by the shield design with 2 cells and the opisthosomal dorsal ridges with spiny microtubercles. This new species differs from A. shinkoensa by the following characters: the shield design of admedian lines without forked lines directed to base, submedian lines connected to admedian lines at half, and the 3 -rayed empodium.
Etymology
Etymology: This new name means “two cells” in reference to the admedian lines forming 2 cells.
