Description
Specimens examined: six females, coll. J. Etienne, Vannier, Grand Bourg, Marie Galante, 9 June 2002, from leaf galls on Pluchea symphytifolia Gillis (Asteraceae). This mite species was described from Venezuela and was previously recorded from the same host from other localities in Guadeloupe (Flechtmann et al., 1999 a).
