Materials Examined
Type data: Holotype Ψ, Taipei: Yangmingshan (670m; N 25 ° 10´E 121 ° 34´), 18 -Aug.- 1999, Huang & Wang; ex Smilax china L. (Smilaceae). (deposited at NMNS). Paratypes, 3 Ψ, data same as for holotype. Relation to host: A vagrant on the lower leaf surface. No apparent damage was observed.
Discussion
Remarks: This new species is close to A. yunensis Lin et Kuang, 2001 by the shield design with admedian lines with forked lines directed rear. This new species differs from A. yunensis by the following characters: the shield design with admedian lines connected at base, semi-circular at base, and dorsal opisthosomal ring with microtubercles.
Etymology
Etymology: This new name means “round” in reference to the semi-circular shaped admedian lines at the base.
