English<colon> Note: Due to the Mozilla Relicensing Project, the MPL/GPL/LGPL triple license ("MTL" or Mozilla Tri-License) or compatible license [1] is expected to apply to all Mozilla products (exceptions noted here should not affect the licensing of screenshots).

Caveats:

• The major exceptions are Mozilla logos, all of which are non-free (trademarked) and should be excluded from screenshots. Commons:Screenshots cites an exception to this: “internal logo files in Firefox 3.6 and later are under the Mozilla tri-license, although trademarked, so are acceptable where hard to avoid.”
• Mozilla has published version 2.0 of the Mozilla Public License, and Firefox source code is licensed under it now. The notice “MPL 2.0” may be ambiguous: MPL 2.0 is by default compatible (not multi-licensed) with “GPL 2.0+/LGPL 2.1+/AGPL 3.0+”, but it can also be incompatible with all of them (by a copyright holder’s choice, including by having the license updated to MPL 2.0 from MPL 1.1 without a bi- or tri-license with [L]GPL), so be careful with templates.[2] Unambiguous templates are yet to be made.

Eesti<colon> Märkus: Mozilla Ümberlitsenseerimise Projekti tõttu eeldatakse MPL/GPL/LGPL kolmiklitsentsi ("MTL" või Mozilla Kolmiklitsents) või ühilduva litsentsi [3]^{[kõik lingid inglise keeles]} rakendumist kõikidele Mozilla toodetele (siin märgitud erandid ei peaks kuvatõmmiste litsenseerimist mõjutama). Peamised erandid on Mozilla logod, mis on kõik mittevabad (kaubamärgistatud) ja peaksid kuvatõmmistest olema välja jäetud. Commons:Screenshots viitab sellele erandiga: "Firefox 3.6 ja hilisemate sisemised logo-failid on Mozilla kolmiklitsentsi all, kuigi kaubamärgistatud, seega on vastuvõetavad seal, kus raske vältida."
