Per Latvian copyright law, Chapter IV, section 171, the copyright owner of Latvian currencies (of less then 70 years from publication) is the Bank of Latvia. Per the Bank of Latvia English copyright statement, reproductions of Latvia currencies, without permission, is permissible if "the requirements of the Bank of Latvia, European Central Bank or the relevant country for the reproduction of banknotes have been met".
